Christmas was really quite delightful this year. My Godparents came for the first week, and we trucked around Athens for a bit and then headed up to see the monasteries at Meteora (a site about five hours out of Athens). Here is a link to some pictures:
After my Godparents left, I took off for a solo trip to Rome. It was a splendid way to ring in the new year. I stayed at a convent near the Porta Pia and spent four days seeing the sites. Here is a link to those pictures.
